When the world couldn’t work out, Planet Fitness helped people work-in, launching daily fitness classes on Facebook Live just two days after COVID closures took effect. All throughout 2020, PF trainers (and a few celebrity guests) led workouts from their homes to more than 208 million homes across the world, helping people to get off the couch and get moving. In the end, this led to 5 billion+ earned media impressions, nearly 600k new app downloads, and industry-leading member retention at the time gyms were struggling most.
